How to explain Twitter to non-users

I signed up for Twitter a year or so ago, but never really found a use for it. I didn't have a lot of friends on it. Now I use it a few times a day to connect with friends, build new relationships and develop better relationships with clients and business partners. This video is something I'll forward to all those friends and family members who don't use twitter in the hopes that they'll sign up and contribute.

Twitter has become much more than that to many businesses and entrepreneurs.

Agreed, but most people (and I would bet most social media icons) started using Twitter as a way to build relationships, first. And I'd still argue that the really successful businesses and entrepreneurs that leverage Twitter most effectively use it primarily to build relationships.
