I just want to say that to all those small businesses who think they don't need an accountant and that they can do the books themselves, don't fool yourselves! I am a small business owner and I have an accountant who manages our who financial side of the business. We have had a number of situations that have happened that has almost caused us to close down (we are a franchise too by the way) but thanks to our accountant who caught alot of things early we are still here (while alot of the other stores from the same franchise has shut down). If you need an electrician to install a light then you need an accountant to manage your finances - you wouldn't try and install a light yourself, hello? Not qualified.
